I love this airport. There are plenty of places to eat and shop, it is very well-designed and modern, flights generally always seem to be on time, and you can get a flight just about anywhere.
Coming in on a red eye OR late at night? After you grab your luggage, come back upstairs & get picked up from departures. It's a ghost town around those times compared to how busy Arrivals is.
FLL, Great airport. Much easier in and out than MIA, less than an hour away. New terminals and upgrades. Domestic and international. Friendly employees.
