哈曼迪爾寺在Amritsar

哈曼迪爾寺在印度旁遮普邦安姆利沙，她是錫克教的最重要聖地，每日朝聖者絡繹不絕。因為她的寺頂同寺門都是用金箔装饰，所以她有個別稱叫做──「金廟」。

金廟是由錫克教第三世祖師阿瑪爾在收到印度皇帝御賜給他一大片封地之後不久而開始蓋起，在他圓寂之前交給第四世祖師拉姆接手蓋，隨後又相傳到第五世祖師阿爾瓊手上，終於到了1601年大功告成。到1802年辛格國王派人將寺頂鋪金，就變成了今日的金廟。

金廟里面有很多稀世珍品，每年僅開放一次讓人們進去參觀。另外金廟又是作為錫克教的宗教同政治中心，據傳聞有時候一些恐佈份子匿藏在裡面，所以受到印度政府的高度關注。

Superbly managed by selfless Kar Sevaks. A must visit at night to see it sparkling in the lake and do eat the Langar. It's tasty and u'll be in awe of the massive workforce managing the entire langar.

Definitely get a guide to help you understand the history, religion, architecture, and current practices. To avoid crowds (especially inside the temple), go early in the morning.
