Beautiful park near the heart of Edinburgh providing great views of the city and surrounding area. Lovely place for running if you don't mind some hills!
Hike up to the old church ruins, then up to Arthur's Seat summit, write with the stones and walk down the steep steps to the meadow and hike up the cliffs edge! Free parking by St. Margaret's Loch
Normally the type who prefers a comfortable pub to hiking but I had to begrudgingly admit to my girlfriend at the top of the hill that the climb is totally worth the view.
