Wonderful Italian paintings. The museum is on the second floor: the first floor is a school. Check out the tiny garden out back, full of herbs and useful plants.
If you really love art, you should visit the famous Pinacoteca di Brera, a gallery founded in 1809 by Napoleon. Mantegna's Dead Chris and Caravaggio's Supper at Emmaues are the main masterpieces.
This gallery is unforgettable. Thoughtfully organized by period and style, and full of "greatest hits." Don't miss the Caravaggio, the Piero Della Francesca, the Rafaello, and the Mantegna.
The collection is worth visiting. Audioguide is really needed i think, unless you are already familiar with the pieces. Free entrance on every first sunday of the month.
This museum contains a large number of the greatest works of art by Raffaello Sanzio, Francesco Hayez, or Caravaggio. All these masterpieces put together transform your visit in a unique experience.
A great little museum with an impeccable collection of must see older paintings along with some gems from the futurists and other early 20th century Italian movements.
