Not too big so you can get a feel for the place in an hour or so. If you like modern art you'll enjoy it. If you don't like modern art, challenge yourself, or just check out the café and gift shop.
Tate is a trademark itself and never disappoints! Must go when in Liverpool. 4 relatively small floors make it a perfect size for 1-2h contemplation of fantastic exhibitions of renowned artists.
This place is fantastic. memorable pieces from Duchamp, Man Ray as well as new cutting edge artists. Can't wait to return this summer. Bring your friends even if they say they don't enjoy art.
