The magnificent 12th-century cathedral at Modena, the work of two great artists (Lanfranco and Wiligelmus), is a supreme example of early Romanesque art.
Costruito a partire dal 1099 consacrato nel 1184, il Duomo è uno dei massimi capolavori del romanico europeo sia per la struttura architettonica di Lanfranco che per l'apparato scultoreo di Wiligelmo.
